Nightshift Warehouse and Despatch Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Despatch and Warehouse Manager, the post holder will be accountable for managing and coordinating all aspects of logistics, relevant to the movement of product and materials to and from site. Ensuring the effective running of all warehousing and transport.

Ensuring the correct handling, palletising and storage of products to Company and Customer requirements, in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality.

<br>Overseeing the Stores nightshift department, liaising with the Stores Champion and providing support where necessary.

<br>Responsible for ensuring that all stock is located and warehoused in a manner that allows stock to be accounted for and that accurate reports can be obtained.

<br>Liaise with Planning and Production to ensure all areas of the business are supplied as necessary.

<br>Identify causes of damage and shrinkage, implement plans to reduce these by process change or early warning indicators.

<br>Assist with the delivery of departmental KPIs. Whilst maximising best use of facilities and resource.

<br>Ensure all legislative requirements are met.

Previous Warehouse Management experience required.
